Now I am the holder of the Brevet Fédéral d’Animateur (Federal Certificate in Sports Activities), I propose you an introduction to Nordic Walking.
Originally, Nordic Walking was practised by Finish cross-country skiers as part of their summer training. Today, everyone can practice this sport which has conquered the world.
This is a very complete, effective and soft sport which:
- uses 90% of the body muscles (mostly the arms, shoulders, back, abs and tailbone)
- stregthens the cardio-vascular system better than running (without the negative effects on the joints)
- uses 20 to 45% more energy than walking without sticks
- improves body mobility and coordination
- relieves neck and shoulder tensions
- can be practiced anywhere throughout the year
- has no age limit
- makes you feel good!
